The Future
In swahili language “tumaini” it homophonically means “hope” and it is a diffused masculine name. These features are completely exhaustive of his way to propose himself towards new projects.
The best strengths that he can instill in the future of the profession correspond to the capacities he now disposes of, which are continually refined and combined to a management of his own limits that are to be transformed into opportunities : self-consciousness, self-esteem and acceptation, a stimulus for curiosity, search for clear and shared aims, an ability to take stands and engagements to maintain, encouragement for reasoned confrontations and hierarchies on an ecological basis, conflicts management.
Always been intimately a 
geologist › as a 
vocation ›, he stays faithful to his category motto: “mente et malleo”, which he likes to translate in figurative language as “with head and legs”, in order to stress the sportive 
inclination › of the profession.
The Present
He is a Senior geologist › and 
environmental consultant › broad spectrum, Political Consultant and Technical 
facilitator ›. He had a eradicated knowledge in 
remediation › of 
contaminated sites › and in development of industrial plans. He preferably covers the role of working team 
coordinator ›, according to his minimal interest for competition and individual performances, to which he sums up the willingness to operate in shadow. Only in crisis situations, does he transform his role, also becoming a “monocratic head”, applying JJ Alquist’s principle “Don’t let your company or your 
organization › die by living in a past that no longer exists” which he likes to translate into “don’t let your plan die by just pullin’ thru”.
Married since 1980, he has a daughter in her teenage-to-be. Since 2000 he has been living in 
Momperone ›, little place in the Northern 
Appennine › mountains, historically an area of crossing cultures and destinies.
He is neither religious, nor atheist nor even agnostic. He denies mystical fashions and cannot suffer all -isms, he follows a spiritual path focused on individual research.
He doesn’t follow any hobby on a daily basis but he is into many different artistic and applicative activities, driven by curiosity and enthusiasm.
The Past
Born in 1957 in Gallarate, town in the North of Italy dedicated to textile industry, gained a diploma at a technical school and has always had a 
Passion › for mineralogy, he then enrolled to Geology faculty at the University of Milan.
Once the experience as a manager of the family company was concluded, he has been working as a geologist › since 1987, doing studies of factibility for dorsals of 
Gas ducts ›. He has been enrolled to the Order of Italian Geologists (Albo Professionale) since 1988.
From 1988 to 1991 he was a coordinator › for technical activities of service companies and perforation companies. He took part to the operations after the floods in Valtellina, to set hydraulics of the river beds and to monitor areas which were jeopardized by landslides at high altitude. He coordinates geognostic and geotechnical construction sites in the whole national territory, for infrastructural projects such as motor ways, bridges, tunnels and dams. He develops geotechnical studies for landfills of USW (Urban Solid Wastes) and toxic wastes. He also develops protocols for hydraulic testings over grounds, rocks and manufacts.
Since March 1991 to December 1995 he covered the post as a coordinator › for technical activities and as a director for hydrogeology and environmental geology branches at a company dealing with wells perforation and hydraulic plants. His new collocation drives him to deal with questions linked to pumping systems, primary water treatment units for industrial, irrigation and drinkable purpose. Besides the making of water wells, he actively deals with solutions of environmental problems linked to 
pollution › of underground waters and soil remediation › of brown fields or industrial reconversion, as a director of site, project manager of 
investigations › and remediation › coordinator ›.
Since January 1996 he has been free lancer, being personally responsible (or in a team) with activities of industrial areas certification, projects and management of safety compliance and remediation › of contaminated sites › and cleaning up of ground water.
In the environmental branch he also completes his studies and projects to mitigate the environmental impact in gas duct dorsal-making located in prestigious areas, natural parks and river crossing areas. He coordinates geological and geotechnical surveys to waste waters treatment projects.
In the autumn of 2000 he moves the operative headquarter to Momperone ›, which also becomes the legal headquarter from 2001.
In 2002 he is one of the founders of ERA - 
Environment ›, Research & Application Cooperative - Technical Consultancy Company dealing with projects and services, which gathers Senior specialists who 
Ground waters ›, Abkhazia June 2008"> Work › in the Geology, Engineering and Development and Defense of Environment › branches, with whom he shares values: services, global responsibility, individual and organizational development, with the aim of political and technical best practices at a bearable cost from “the improvement of life quality” to “an equilibrium with the natural order”.
